API Standard
Halaxy API follows the FHIR R4B framework. This is to ensure interoperability with globally-recognized healthcare systems.
Spelling
To follow international coding standards, Halaxy API uses American spelling, including in this documentation. This may differ in certain terminology within the Halaxy platform, which uses British spelling.
Date and Time
Date follows the ISO 8601 format - "2025-03-01"
Time follows the UTC format (ISO 8601) with a localized time zone offset - "2025-03-26T22:00+10:00". This accommodates the possibility that the practice group, clinic location or patient may be in different time zones.
